These last couple of months we've been working hard to collect shoes. Thank you to everyone who donated shoes to our sneaker drive, we exceeded our goal of collecting over 200 shoes.
This December, Gear' Em Up is teaming up with two organizations, Let Girls Read, Run, Grow (LGRRG) and Global Air Drone Academy, to host the first ever SPORT × STEM Camp in Lagos, Nigeria. Together we will host 50 11-15 year old boys and girls over two-days, where they will participate in Basketball/ Track and Field, leadership seminars, then build and race their own drones.
We are looking to cover the cost of the camp. It our hope that through the camp, the kids will get the itch to play sports and get an introduction to the many opportunities that exist in STEM through our drone activity. Just a donation of $50, $10, $5 or any amount you can contribute will cover the cost for one participant. Your donation will go toward the venue, food, security, insurance and equipment for the camp. All hosts and leaders for the camp are un-paid volunteers.

Yes, we are seeking items to put in the back packs for the campers, mainly, socks, workout gear, book bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, toiletry items. If you have products to donate please let me know and I can give you the address (stateside) to send them to.
