First and foremost, Thank you to every who contributed to our raffle in any capacity.
After a month long raffle we were able to raise a significant amount of funds to aid those in South Africa. As we mentioned in our previous post that the funds from the raffle would be going towards Dream Field Project and the Alexander Baseball Club to restore soccer fields & provide opportunities for kids to play sports. All proceeds from the raffle will be given to USF Sport Management Program. These donation will directly assist at-risk youth in Soweto and Alexandra, South Africa.
On December 21st both our winners for the raffle were chosen on Instagram Live. Our first winner was Brittney Deal, she won a pair of tickets to the Clippers vs Spurs on 12/29. Our 2nd winner was Kyar'a Williams, winning our Warriors vs Trailblazer on 12/27. Having suite seats, club access and pregame warmup experience Kyar'a mentioned "this experience was like no other and happy she was able to make a donation."
Warriors went into overtime loosing to the trailblazers 110-109. While the Clippers also lost to the Spurs 111-122. Although both teams lost we were able to provide memorable experiences to both of our winners. Which we are most passionate about, giving people moments to remember through sports.
